Confirmation

Confirmation unites us more firmly to Christ. It strengthens our relationship with the Church and gives us a special strength from the Holy Spirit to defend the faith and confess the name of Christ. Through this Sacrament, the baptized person is "sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit".

Through the Sacrament of Confirmation, our young people affirm the promises made by their parents when they were baptized as infants.

The Sacrament is conferred by the bishop bi-annually in our parish. We prepare our young people for this Sacrament beginning in September of their 8th-grade year.

Youth Confirmation is part of the Parish School of Religion.  Adult Confirmation is part of the RCIA Program.
